It’s been carefully pieced together bit by bit with serged seams, and some seams are further decorated in a red “frankenstein” style stitching. This piece in particular is mostly made with plush velveteen, and heavier, beautiful tapestry fabrics.
✦ Skirt is lined with 100% polyester lining; bodice is lined in a poly/cotton blend.
✦ Skirt is finished with a wide raw-edge ruffle, atop of which sits 4 different trims: a black soft lace, an extra wide gold lace, a narrower gold lace, and a black braid to finish it all.
✦ Bodice features an anatomical heart, sitting atop a bed of red cotton corduroy. The ‘V’ shape is finished with the same lace/trim as the skirt.
✦ Raw-edge ruffle straps are elasticized and finished with a soft lace across the top.
✦ Back includes a section of shirring; zips up the side.
